Can shoulder popping cause neck pain and cracking ?

I’m on the treatment of physical therapy and they gave me exercise to stop my shoulder and shoulder blade from popping. But I’ve been experiencing neck pain, neck discomfort, and cracking sometimes. How do I get rid of this? If my shoulder gets better will it stop? Please don’t answer if your going to say go to the doctor
